3 THINGS MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW . . .

1. Did you know that there are laws about providing certain leaves of absence with pay? Time off for voting, Military Leave, FLMA and other important “leave of absence” information should be communicated to your employees.

2. Were you aware that there are new laws pertaining to providing all part time and full time employees paid sick time? This information must be communicated to your employees and you must define how much to offer (minimum or more) and how you intend to account for the sick time.

3. Did you know that all employees working regularly 30 hours or more per week must be offered medical insurance, if your company provides a group medical insurance plan, regardless of how you define full time employee status?
